Bringing your Makeup Artist To Your Destination Weddings..

Destination weddings are becoming even popular. They are tons of fun, extremely romantic, and is an added bonus with a nice getaway! Bringing your makeup/hairstylist for you destination wedding may seem ultra diva to some, but it takes the guessing about what to expect when you get there. a hair stylist/makeup artist with you can really take care of the finishing touches for your bridal look. Most resorts offer hairstyling and makeup, but remember, they don’t know you and your style. There can also be extra stress if there is a language barrier. There may be a big difference in the quality of the product being used, or you also may not have the opportunity to book a trial prior to your big day. Bringing on artist/hairstylist with you most often are on call from the moment you start the process till the last picture is done. A bride gets the look she wants and the finish she wants. You don’t have to worry about your face being shiny or lipstick fading. You will then have the artist/stylist on hand for any other photo sessions throughout the week like a “trash the dress” session or pre wedding pictures. I have done Numerous destination wedding makeup and hair in places like Jamaica, The Bahamas & The Virgin Islands and every bride I have worked for was relived and grateful for the decision they had made in bringing me along.

Guy Grooming Tips ~ Razor Bumps 411

A lot of my male clientele often have a problem with razor bumps or ingrown hairs (pseudofolliculitis barbae)and have asked me for any product suggestions or technique that can help.
Razor Bumps (caused by infected hair follicles) come from the end of the hair shaft that, after being shaved, is cut in such a way that again the end of the hair is sharpened and as it continues to grow it curls into another nearby hair follicle. This introduction of the sharpened end of a hair follicle into another causes an inflammatory response in the skin and leads to a pimple or bump because of the inflammation of the skin. My suggestion would be to exfoliate the skin first before shaving, use an electric razor and shave in the direction of hair growth.

These are my product recomendations:

Before shaving use Clarins Men Active Face Scrub, 2.6-Ounce
On damp skin rinse then shave. It removes dry dead skin clogging your pores so that you get a closer longer lasting shave. For those with stubborn hard stubbles you can saturate the area to be shaved beforehand with Clarins by Clarins: Men Shave Ease Oil--/1OZ I use it on my legs all the time and I love it! Finish up with Clarins Men Moisture Balm, 1.7-Ounce Box And you will feel the noticeable difference in the texture of you skin!

I was a beauty advisor for Clarins cosmetics for many years and got certified as a Clarins skin care specialist. I still love and use their products every day!

Gabrielle's Union's ~Look to get it it.

This month's cover of People magazine features actress Gabrielle Union I had the pleasure of working with her this past new years eve for a party that she was going to in South Beach. Her article in People featured her summer fresh look and how she got it. When I did  her makeup she had fabulous flawless blemish free skin, I asked her what her secret was and she said Neutrogena! Being around so many different skin care and cosmetics and trying them all on my face was wreaking havoc on my skin so I tried everthing else and figured it would not kill me to try Neutrogena. I use these products ; Since then I am happy to say that I have really seen a significant difference in the texture of my skin and my complexion yaaay :) She really does a good job as a spokeswoman!

So this was the look I did for her

I to achieve this look you can use these M.A.C Products:

Eyes~ Paint Pot in Painterly, fluid line in Blacktrack, Powerpoint pencil in Engraved, Brule, Bronze, and Blacktide eyshadow

Summer sexy light makeup

During the summer time most people don't want to glob on pounds of makeup because it get's so hot and so my suggestion for a  fresh and natural look in makeup would be wearing a tinted moisturizing cream, a light blush or bronzer for your cheeks, a light coating of mascara and lipgloss. Let your natural beauty show through! Try
